Common Questions

How many holiday homes does Het Neerhof have?

We have 1 holiday home that can accommodate up to 26 people. It is therefore ideal for 15–26 people. Perfect for family reunions, multi-generational holidays and groups comprising several families.

Where exactly is Het Neerhof?
We are situated 100 metres from the centre of Westouter (Heuvelland), yet in a very rural setting, at the foot of the Rode and Zwarte Berg, a short distance from Ypres, Poperinge, Belle and Lille.
Is bed linen included?

The rental price includes made-up beds – for the number of people specified at the time of booking.

Can I book for a weekend, a midweek break or a full week?

Yes, you can book with us for a week (7 nights), a short or long weekend (2 or 3 nights) or a midweek break (2, 3 or 4 nights). During the school holidays, you can normally only book from Monday to Friday (4 nights) and Friday to Monday (3 nights). There are fixed periods for certain public holidays; for example, for Ascension Day, bookings are from Wednesday evening until Sunday or Monday morning (4 or 5 nights).

What time can I check in and check out?

Check-in is from 16:00 to 20:00. On Sundays, you can check out until 20:00. Check-in and check-out times may vary slightly depending on occupancy — please feel free to enquire about this when making your booking.

Do you accept Flemish holiday vouchers?

Yes, we accept Flemish holiday vouchers.

Is Het Neerhof a real, working farm?
Yes, Het Neerhof is a working farm. We grow potatoes, maize, wheat and sugar beet there. During your stay, you’ll get to experience farm life and meet the animals (including a dog, rabbits, sheep, goats, chickens and a horse).
What sort of things can children do there?
There is a communal heated swimming pool, a trampoline, go-karts, a sandpit, a swing, bikes, scooters, a toy tractor and more toys in the play shed. There is also a football table and a table tennis table. In addition, there is an indoor play area with a large screen for connecting a games console or watching films.
Is there a multi-purpose room available to rent?
There is no separate room available to rent – anyone who rents the farm automatically gets the play area included free of charge.
Is there Wi-Fi available?
Yes, you can use free Wi-Fi in the holiday home.
Why stay in Heuvelland?
Flanders’ most beautiful landscapes, ideal for walking and cycling. Local cuisine featuring wine, beer, regional produce and traditional craftsmanship. Peace, space and nature to provide a counterbalance to the hustle and bustle of everyday life. A rich history, including heritage from the First World War. A unique location on the border with France, which gives the area its own distinct culture and atmosphere.
Is Het Neerhof suitable for walkers and mountain bikers?

Absolutely. Our location in the Heuvelland makes Het Neerhof an ideal starting point for walking tours and mountain bike routes in the rolling, peaceful countryside. Plan your walk using the walking junction points.
